     BOOK III - "The Archives" In this, the third serigraph of the suite, the window is once again the dominant motif. In the center Weil depicts the quill of the scribe and ancient scrolls, stored in the archives. These scrolls containing our history are the foundation on which our future is built. Learning from them and relying upon them, they will guide the new nation on its journey into the future. Beneath the foliage of our history, the fire of life is being rekindled - a new nation has been born. The phoenix, which appears for the final time is shown in the blue light of hope symbolizing the hopes of a nation building itself in its homeland and emerging from two thousand years of Diaspora.
